Web Designer/Developer with over
seven years of experience.
Serving the scenic city of Ottawa Ontario.
Design is visual communication.
Using WordPress as a platform I can develop nearly any type of website. From a simple brochure website to a full featured online store. No matter the scale, adding and editing content is always easy.
The most important step.
Every project and client is different. Time and effort has to be spent to determine what the purpose is and goals are for the project.
Time to figure out what tools to use and which direction to take.
Wireframes and site structures are created to identify and organize all of the components of the site. Once this is done, content is created for each component.
I make me a fresh pot of coffee and get down to the fun stuff: design!
Mockups for the home page, and at least one content page are created.
Once the design mockups have been approved by the client, I rip them apart and reassemble them into a functioning, dynamic website.
I love using WordPress as a content management system as it is offers a very flexible and user-friendly publishing environment. I walk the client through the process of adding and updating content as well as providing any required documentation that can be referenced later.
Once everything is tested and all bugs are squashed, the site is sent out into the wild!
The website is now alive and well and you should expect it to stay that way. Should any further bugs or errors show up, you can rest assured that they will be fixed promptly.
When I’m not out falling off my mountain bike or trying to take a picture where I look thoughtful and creative at the same time, you’ll find me at my desk with a big ol’ coffee either getting inspired or flying over the hurdles of my latest project.
Website, logo design, animation, illustration … the medium isn’t important – as long as the project pushes me to create something that I can take pride in and my client will be thrilled with. They say it isn’t good to be a jack of all trades but I really only deal in one trade: Problem solving.
I want to make cool things for cool people.
If you have a project you think I can help out on,
let me know about it!
